Sogro sEast Aurora's first st-hool was in a one-room log cabin. Over the years. District 1331 has expanded into eleven modern schools with several others planned for the near future. As the district has grown, East lligh has grown too. In three years the student body has grown to 1700. Nearly -100 freshmen were added this year. and the graduating elass was nearly 100 members larger than last year's. There were ninety-t'iye teachers, twenty-eight of them new to our school, and with their help we organized acti- vities. studied, and had lots of fun. We kept the old traditions - Homecoming. Bow VVeek, Variety Show - and began others. Club membership mushroomed, classes were more crowded. lunch lines were longerg everything seemed bigger. Look ahead at the record ot' our year. and you will agree that East High grew up this year. -Y 1 .
