All shop rooms are constructed with at least one wall of windows to give niaxiinuni lighting and ventilation. Fluorescent lighting and sound-proofed tile help niake the day brighter for all industrial students. 'lihe drafting area also has a complete tech- nical library, where students can obtain valuable information. All this plus the added convenience of the latest and best- IN1JIICB'-C2111-lhlyu machinery combine to make it a pleasure to take a shop course. Diversified Occupations, better known as UID., and Drivers liducation are also part of the industrial department. UID. students have class work at school half the day and work-experience at a trade outside school the other half.

Science major, offered to stu- dents maintaining a B+ average, pur- poses to increase their backgrounds in a field of science not covered by other science classes. Chemistry facilities, con- sisting of over IFlfl,OOfl worth of equip- ment, provide excellent means for stu- dents to acquire a better knowledge in this field. Physics consists of a lab and lec- ture setup. Tables in this room, fitted with gas, electricity, and water allow two people to work together. The biology classrooms allow for individual student participation in experiments by provid- ing more equipment and ample work space.
