Open book shelves and display cases, as will well as a glass protected shelf. which can be seen from the corridor and from within the room, provide additional dis- play area in two of the rooms. The two main classrooms have a soundproof listen- ing room, containing two booths with a record player and tape recorder. During their study periods, students sign up extra to improve their pronunciation in the specihc language bv listening to native speakers on recordings. They may also record their voice to compare it with the actual pronunciation. This department complies with the most modern trends in teaching the third HR. Visual aids help students to apply theory to practical effort. The mathematics office contains equipment to allow student participation in making the various visual apparatus. A great variety of courses is offered to serve the student! interest.
