Our jangled nerves had barely had a week's rest when the loudspeaker commanded us to report to the cafeteria at once! Upon our arrival, Nlr. A spirit week of saying Beat YVest in- stead of l'Hi and wearing red and black followed. But an even bigger thrill came when we won the Big Eight title! THE C.-XLlVl BEFORE THE STORNIH is exemplified in the locker room as strategy is gone over for the last time before the decisive winning game which clinched the Big Eight Conference title for the East High Tomcats.
