the way .... senior activities was Baccalaureate. We were reminded ot the responsibilities facing us, and how we could meet them. At the Senior Banquet and Prom, we re- called our first years at East High and our last one. We were proud to be wearing our fa- vorite flower, the Johanna Hill Rose, and danc' ing in the gym decorated with our colors, blue and silver. Our last day at high school dawned all too soon. On an evening in June l949, we marched to receive our diplomas. We heard the choir sing and the band play, and we listened to the commencement speeches.
