What is that tantalizing aroma 7' inquired a stranger roaming through the halls. That's Miss Norman's Foods class baking one hundred pounds of cookies of all flavors and shapes to be sent to various Army camps during cookie weekf, No, no sampleslu Of course some of the nice smell might have come from the cafeteria where students in Cafeteria Man- agement plan, prepare and serve our lunches. Wistfully watching the foods classes from the an- nex windows are the girls in the Clothing Depart- ment. Maybe you can't have your Cake and eat it too, but you can show off your dress or suit in the annual Spring Fashion Show. These Words are familiar to almost every East High student for sometime in the course of his high school career everyone comes in contact with the office staff. The office is the center of great activity, regulating and running the en- tire school. Although the office staff issues hated 7:30's to those who are tardy or commit other minor crimes, it is always willing to help students in any Way possible. Many students are acquainted with the bench just inside the office door. Here one sits while waiting to see Mr. Walters, sometimes for the purpose of asking his advice on what college he should attend, or getting his approval on committee plans, or sometimes talking with him about things less pleasant and more per- sonal.
