foreword As we approach the close of our h1gh school careers w pause momentar1ly to look back upon the study and fun the com radesh1p and understand1ng wh1ch have played such an 1mportant part 1n our l1ves These years 1n East Aurora H1gh School have been years of happ1ness and ach1evement All that rema1ns of them now are fond memor1es of a wonderful age 1n our scrapbook We recall the hours of work and fun spent 1n our classes the fellowshxp of organ1zat1ons and clubs the exc1t1ng world of football games and partles The fr1ends we have made here and the many and dlfferent exper1ences we have shared w1ll always be remembered No doubt we shall often rem1n1sce about the fun and freedom of our h1gh school l1fe However the future 1S our ma1n concern We have come to real1ze the value of h1gh school 1n tra1n1ng us for entry 1nto college bus1ness school or the work1ng world We know that our efforts throughout h1gh school are of great xmportance 1n de term1n1ng our future success or fa1lure What we accompl1sh 1n years to come depends a great deal on what we have done o far These years can never be overest1mated 1f they are used as a preparat1on not a term1nal for our l1ves Although East Aurora H1gh School w1ll no longer be a part of our da1ly l1fe lt can never be completely forgotten by us The fr1endsh1p of fellow students the gu1dance of our teachers and the lessons we have learned here w1ll surely llnger on 1n college or at work we also glance back w1th pleasure at the store of memo r1es that h1gh school has glven us EaSt Aurora H1gh School w1ll always hold a treasured place 1n our book of memor1es 3 s 5 Q- -3v'9l'..'2 lnL 2 A' O . , e , - S Q . . , . . . , 9 , .
