Huskie Footboll The Fort Rich Huskie football team was considered one of the most improved ball clubs of the 1968 football season. Although they faced a grueling season, they scored against many of the powerhouses in the league. Head Coach Bill Davis and his assistants worked through the season with the team trying for the winning combination of a good running back field and a strong front line. Their efforts were rewarded by the naming of Willy Robinson to the All- Conference team as an offensive back. Art Newell l83l and Arthur Chambers l85l demonstrate good tackling techniques by bringing down an Elmendorf Cougar. Eugene Golden l10l watches his pass hurdle through the air to its mark Students from East High on the Fort Rich football team are FRONT ROW: Marvin Nielson, Larry Sharrah, Tom Jones, Eugene Golden, Chris Bradshaw, and Dave Rael, and BACK ROW: Art Newell, Shindo-Han Allen, Manfred COIISY, Gary Currie, Edward Martin, and Mike Austin.
