X River Community High School are Those given by members of The Faculty Urol Service Club. This altruistic group, organized in 1956, asks nothing but The satisfaction ot serving The students and The school. ' Its most important yearly proiect is The awarding of The Harry Hayes Smith Scholarship Fund. In The past years This Scholarship has been given To Bob Campbell, Allen Powers, David Apple, and Ronald Walkington. The Faculty Service Club raises money for This Scholarship Fund by presenting a play each spring. The members ot The organization direct, act, and produce The plays themselves. Their productions in The past years have been Mr. Barry's Etchings, Tish, and A Visit To a Small Planet. The club also sponsors a book fair in The fall. In recognition ot its services we dedicate this T959-1960 Oiler to the Faculty Service Club.
