XPERIENCING P RE THGOD The Child Development classes teach the children as well as the students, The students have learned the responsibility of caring for children and learn how to become good future parents. On Halloween the kids dress up and they parade around the halls of E. A. and collect candy from the teachers. They had a Christmas party for the kids and Tom Hartzell played Santa Claus . All of the kids had a chance to talk to Santa and tell him what they wanted for Christmas. The bride and groom were April Brown and Tom Hartzell. There was a small reception held afterwards and the entire wedding party at- tended. ln the future. these stu- dents will be ready for the actual thing.

FDRBES STUDE T LEARN TR DE Forbes Road East provides an in- teresting change of pace for many East Allegheny students. Interested juniors and seniors from all over the area spend half of the day at their highschool and their other half at Forbes Road. While the stu- dents are at Forbes Road they are trained for work in the area that they choose. They are shown the basic skills that they need to know and then they are left alone to practice them. After two years of training, the students are certified and able to get a job in their field. N
