The speaker, Mr. George Barboni, enlightened the audience with his speech about the importance of education. The only Senior inductee this year was Connie Communale. Junior inductees included: Elena Chrissanthopolous, Anessa Donaldson, Regina Morrone, Jim Neuschwander, Jim Robertson S Renae Schmonduik. lnductees of the Sophomore Class included: Mary Ann Drahusz, Megan Irvine, Angela Kelly, Kim Kolesar, Susan Lukondi, Larry Kushnir, Brian Martz, Amy Slepsky, Janeen Stokan, Karen Vodvarka, Christine Victor 8 Jarrin Williams. These students were inducted with the usual candle ceremony. Proud friends with the family filled the 21 audience. These students represent our future.

President: Rich Taylor, Vice President: Shari Olinsky, Secretary: Maryanne Drabik, Treasurer: Tammy Snyder The National Honor Society, sponsored by Mr. Ihnat, is an organization for recognition of scholar- ship. lt is designed to recognize the Academic Achievements made by high school students. The Society is a nationwide organization whose mem- bers are selected from Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors whose average is a 3.2 or higher. All mem- bers are recommended by teachers in their school. A ceremony is given for the members. Pins and membership cards are also given to them. These students are East Allegheny's most outstanding Academic Achievers.

I FORMATIO PROVIDERS The library Aids give a lot of extra help to Mrs. Knapp. Their work includes orga- nizing books, circulating materials and fil- ing. This year they have begun computer- izing catalogs and typing audio-visual entries into the computer. Natalie Slepsky, Becky Foster, Janeen Stokan. SCIENTIFIC SAILORS The Science Club under the direction of Dr. Botti is consisted of several individuals who are now seniors, but have been meeting with Dr. Botti since they were Freshman. The club hasn't had any recognition until this past year when they went to the Bahamas. They have been going on trips ever since they were freshman, but this year they decided to go all out . . . and did.
