HIGH SCHGOL ADMI ISTRATORS Dr. Pat Serrapere Dr. Serrapere began a new phase of his career at East Allegheny when he accepted the position of head principal at the high school. Previously, he was responsible for running Green Valley Primary School whre he was first intro- duced to many of the students who attended the high school this year. He seems to have adjusted well to the routine of East Allegheny. Although there was a big difference in running a primary school and high school, Dr. Serra- pere has handled it quite nicely. Mr. .lohn Liptak Mr. John Liptak has been our assistant principal here at East Allegheny for I5 years. Many of the problems and challenges students face daily are taken care of under his supervision. Throughout the years he has gained the respect of the students because of his concern and fair treatment toward them. He is by far, one of the most respected advisors at East Allegheny.

Each counselor was assigned to specific duties which helped provide the students at East Allegheny with a chance to discuss choices, future plans, and schedule changes. An in-house suspension program was also implemented through the Guidance Department which offered an alterna- tive to suspending students from school. With the in-house program, students could attend school which enabled them to keep up with their studies and fulfill their obligations to a suspension decision.
