i l l l TO THE SENIOR CLASS . . . Each year as the Graduating Class departs our fold, we are called upon to reflect, ponder, and predict the past, present and future accomplishments of those who are about to leave our halls. Much rehetoric can be spoken or written, but in the final analysis, the onus for a successful life is now placed squarely upon your shoulder. Your teachers and parents have done their utmost to competently prepare you for the task at hand. To face today's challenge is by no means an easy one. The Class of 1984 will confront barriers never experienced by previous graduating Senioes. It is my fervent desire that each and every one of you attain the goals you have established for yourselves. l am confident that with a positive attitude, a strong desire, and a constant determination your future aims will be attained. ln my final charge to you, remember you will make your own Luck , Do not depend on others, for most assuredly they will fail you. Learn to rely upon your good judgement, based on solid fact and sound resoning. Yes, you will make mistakes. This is a natural phenomena for us mortals. Strive for the ultimate, and if you should happen to fall a bit short, your accomplishments will be manifold. Sincerely yours, Wayne A. Scholar, Principal East Allegheny High School.
