Ftow 3: Coach Ron Regrut, Mark Janosko, Pete Planinich, Glenn Woodard, Mike Lilja, Dave Joyce, Jeff McKivens, Kevin Connelly. Glenn finds a new way to touch his toes, The 1981-82 Boys Cross Country Team did not have a winning record this past year, but it did have many good moments and great performances. Midway through the season, the team looked as if it could post a winning season. Strong opposition, though, did in that hopeg but the runners managed a respectable record. The team's captains, Kevin Connelly and Jeff McKivens were the team's best runners. Kevin narrowly missed qualifying for the State Finals, loosing out by a foot. The loss of Bruce McGrew to injuries also greatly hurt the team, for he was one of the top runners. Dave Joyce and Kevin Connelly at a typical practice for Cross Country.

Gi' s' Swim Team i X w 1st Bow: Amy Coletta, Kira Wood, Cheryl Weimer, Cheryl Kollar, Coach Weber. 2nd Row: Kathy Tomko, Lisa Warren, Lisa Bartoli, Kathy Welesko. 3rd Bow: Robin Schussler, Beth Bergan, Debbie Thompson, Karen Ebright. The E.A. Girls swim team had a successful year. Comprised of the finest swimmers in the school, the team broke and established many new swimming records. Because the team was a combination of an equal number of all classes, freshmen swimmers were able to learn from the upperclassmen and have prepared themselves for next year's season. Beth Bergen, one of our finest underclassman swimmers swam her way to State Competition and made a fine showing. Rigorous training and skill helped to make this year's team one of the best ever. Once again the Girls Cross Country record did not reflect the long hours of work and practice put into the sport by many dedicated athletes. Captains Pam Gates and Pat Csley, along with other returning runners, led the team to a 2-6 record for the season. The season was an enjoyable one, and all the runners saw self-improvement.
