Principal iwxk X Mr. Wayne A, Scholar Mr. Scholar leads in the cheers. lvlr. Scholar has successfully completed two years as principal here at East Allegheny. lvlr. Scholar has, however, been involved in education tor a number ot years. Atter receiving a B.A. degree at Duquesne University and serving in the US. Army tor two years, Mr. Scholar began his teaching career at East Allegheny in 1962. Specializing in Spanish and Social Studies, lvlr. Scholar educated many ot East Allegheny's alumnae. ln 1966, he began work in obtaining his lvlaster's Degree in Education from Duquesne. After much hard work, Mr. Scholar obtained the prestigious honor ot principal in 1980. l Mr. Scholar at his best.

Mrs. Hoffman, the Junior!Senior counseler, assists in the important decisions concerning the students' futures. Mrs. Hoffman's duties include administering tests such as the SAT, PSAT, and NEDTXNMSQT. She also aids the Seniors with their selection of colleges and completion of applications. She acted as a friend who was genuinely concerned with the future of the students. Mr. Graziano's first year as Freshman!Sophomore counseler proved his worth. He was a major factor in acquainting the underclassmen with the policies at the high school. Mr. Graziano was in charge of scheduling the underclassmen and handling class changes. He also provides students with test-taking opportunities which include the PSAT and career tests taken by the Juniors and Seniors.
