Mu Alpha Theta was the mathematical club of East Allegheny High School. Membership was open to Junior and Seniors with an interest in Math. The purpose ot the club was to enhance the students' knowledge of math and its many uses in today's careers. The membership was high, and the members enjoyed the club's endeavors.

The German Club has been a fine tradition at East Allegheny for many years. They have always had a large following and active participation. This year was disappointing though, tor their trip to Germany was cancelled due to the economic problems of the area.

Student Council The Student Council of East Allegheny is a vital organization which offers our students pleasure ,and t learning experiences. The Student Council participates in such affairs as Homecoming, the Student Exchange program, and acting as guides for Open House. During the school year, Student Council made the lives of the students a bit more bearable through the Jive Turkey Contest lwon by the Juniorsl and movies which helped to break up the monotony.
