'Til Karen Hixart, lint Alm, Bonn e Cowan, Keir Felt, Marcy Reid, lacm McCar'hv, Kay la more, Carlton Heywood, Sharon Czekai, Tart' Haines, Caroline Saksa, Ed Dentengo, Diana Sudsina, Perry Bruno, Lynn Rullo, Bob Doherty, JoAnn Fisner, Ken Stadterman The 197879 Prom, held on May l9, proved to be a splendid success through the hard work and dedication ot the Class ot '80 and their advisor, Mrs, Pamela Wann. The evening commenced as the ele- gantly-dressed guests, hlled with anticipation ot pleasures to come, arrived at the Howard Johnsons in Monroeville. The nights pro- gram began with the greeting by Mr. John liptak and the invocation by Roberta Kellar, which was immediately followed by the serving ot a delicious dinner that was enioyed by all, The tension mounted as each member ot the court was introduced and took their place on the stage, anxiously awaiting the announcement ot the T978-79 Prom Queen. The climax was when last year's aueen, lisa Lesko, crowned the vibrant and beautiful Mary Ruggiero who was escorted by lohn Trkula. The coronation was tollowed by an exciting tloor show, pertormed by Vic Genre and the Stone Mansion. Atterwards, a variety ot music was provided tor dancing and listening pleasure. The guests then traveled in a caravan to the atterfprom at the Q Q4e?,:ff' Mauna Loa, A spectacular t'loor show, l-lawaiian Encounter, was X 'T 4' -5 staged tor the audiences enioyment. A buttet was prepared tor the Ad, QT guests and dancing music was provided by the Mauna loo Band. This was a delighttul ending to a special evening that will long 5, remain as, This Magic Moment, in the memories ot all who attended. f ts if is c, The Queen and her escort 84
