The dance was held Friday, December 22, l978, Trom 7,30 - ll:3O p.m. in The indoor courT, aT The l-ligh School. IT was decoraTed Thai day, basically in green and vvhiTe, vvhich vvere The colors chosen for This year's dance. Many seniors spenT Time painTing murals, which were hung on The walls in The indoor CourT. These decoraTions presenied an elegenT mood which brouQhT ouT The ChrisTmas spirii in everyone. As The couples arrived and had Their picTures Taken The band, Punch played a Tew selecTions To add a special Touch To The Freda Flegal, Ms Merry ChrisTmas K' , already warm and cheery aimosphere, The couples enioyed a buTTeT sTyled dinner before The highlighT OT The evening, The ceremony began vviTh The inTroducTion of each courT member and her escorT. There were nine lovely girls in all, each had vvriTTen a highlighT of her high school career, which was read vvhile she was escorTed To her seaT on The courT. The suspense had been building all nighT long and vvas Tinally broken vviTh The announcing of Freda Flegal as This year's ChrisTmas Queen. She was escorTed by Dave KraTT.
