Fedora 186 French Club The newly formed Cercle Francais enjoyed a very successful year which would never have been possible without the advisor, Miss Shuma. Meetings were held at least once a month, at which some aspect of French culture in France and Switzerland was expored. Many delicious French recipes such as crepes and Swiss cheese were made. The members learned about many holiday customs, which were practiced at the Christmas party. Near the end of the year, the club attended a French Fair at McKeesport Junior High. At that time, students who went to France had the chance to speak about their trip and display their pictures. The last meeting was held in honor of the senior members. Each senior received a small remem- brance gift and president, K. Jakub, received a certificate for outstanding achievement for the study of French.
