Lunch period . . . a time to satisfy that appetite which has been growing all morning and to supply the needed energy for a long afternoon. A time to meet with friends to discuss the events of the day gone by . . . and the prospect of those to come. For those students involved in countless activities, the half hour break means- ten minutes to eat and twenty to sell tickets or perform one of the numerous tasks which must be done today Top: J. Officially, the school day ends at 2:30. . . yet, on any given day, one can count numerous students throughout the building involved in rehearsals, meetings, athletic practice, work sessions, and a variety of other extra-curricular commitments. For those students who are willing to accept the invitation to become involved, the word school takes on an additional dimension . . . their experience is further enriched . . . and East Allegheny profits from their enthusiasm, ideas, and energies.
