' 'Wi Administration 8a Guidance This year saw a complete change in school life and policies. The reason? A change in administra- tion. Mr. J. Milton Butler became associated with EHS for the first time as our new principal. Many new changes were made, as can be expected with the arrival of new ideas. These ideas were con- sidered good by the majority of EHS students and faculty as well. Our new administration played a very major role in the success of Easley Senior High School. Lunchroom Staff 8a Maintenance This year EHS acquired a new cafeteria. This addition is very well cared for and used by our lunchroom staff, managed by Mrs. Hamilton. Such a building as EHS is very difficult to keep clean and in good order. This endless job of the maintenance department, headed by Mr. Sloan, is very well performed and a. credit to EHS. .qfvxx N .. Pep rallies with the band, cheer- leaders, and pep club try to build greater spirit for all our great teams. Each and every student looks forward to Friday morn- ings in the fall, and a few other appreciated ones in the winter. This football season, our best pep rally skit was given by the speech class for the Wade Hamp- ton game. Great spirit was arous- ed, but we were still somewhat lacking. The final pep rally was for the Dorman game. It was Se- nior Day and they took advan- tage of it. fAboveJ Coach Bagwell ponders what he will say to the students fRightJ Prove it, waves, prove it. 1970-'71 school year are now just memories. These are the last memories for the seniors but for the under- classmen the memories are just beginning. We have tried to capture these events in the pages of the 1971 Green and White. The annual staff would like to thank Miss Gwendolyn Hopkins, our advisor, for keeping things straight, Mr. Butler, EHS princi- pal, for the help he has given us, especially for making it possible tohave our own room, and Mr. Worth E. Lineberry and Inter- collegiate Press. Also Mr. Jack Moore, Mr. Vincent Ducker, A1- bert Lioen and Delmar Co. for the photographs. Lost copy, getting pictures made and last minute deadlines, things don't seem to go right, but its funny, how many stu- dents will read Cwe hopej and look at the pictures and laugh and remember. Iwould like to thank the staff members for their ideas, time and hard Work.
