On T.V., Family Ties, Growing Pains, Cheers, Moonlighting, Miami Vice, and The Cosby Show were among the most viewed. At the movie theater, teens paid millions to see. Back to the Future, Down and Out in Beverly Hills, The Color Purple, Rambo 1, 2, 3, and 4, and Top Gun. Music of course brought in new and exciting artists like A-HA, Mister Mister, and Whitney Houston, but oldies like The Rolling Stones, Tina Turner, and Bruce Springsteen hit the charts equally as well. If 1985-86 were any indication of what we are to expect, then we are in for a great future. 82 Current Events 1985-1986 wa9 a year of failures and triumph. The Bears were the 1985 Superbowl Champs, the space shuttle met a devastating end, terrorists made Americans afraid to travel, and the Grenoble Nuclear Plant suf- fered a massive meltdown. But despite these disasters, the year was still a good one. Medical history was made with many artificial hearts patients living. Huge benefits were held to help the poor, hungry and ill, and funds were raised from all over the country to restore the magnificant Statue of Liberty. Though 1985-86 is now history it will be remembered as an educational and prosperous year. 83 Qxelera. Raider Trivia?!? 1. What is the name of your yearbook? 2. The PAISLEY invaded the E.H.S. halls on shoes, pants, shirts, and watches. HAWAIIAN and FLORAL prints were a big fad this year. These prints appeared on jeans, shirts, and jams. Watch-it, Le watch, Swatch, and Yes were watches frequently seen on the wrists of students at Earlville. Each year at Earlville High brings with it new and changing fashions. We hope 1987 will keep up with this rolling trend. 88 Fashion Ads Division 89 ANDERSON AND ANDERSON CONGRATULATIONS and GOOD LUCK to the class of 1986 SCHMIDT PHARMACY Micheal F. Schmidt R.P.H.
