Juniors Dominate Class Olympics 1. The students watching from the sideline cheer on their classmates. 2. The last and most strenuous event of the day — the Tug-of-War. 3. Scott Hager demonstrates the perfect form for hurdling. 4. Running through the tires is sophomore. Scott Powell. 5. Jim Wold and Scott Hager became good buddies during the three-legged race. 6. Pushing to the limit is Randy Simpson during the tricycle race. 7. Coach Essmann is trying to decide whether this is a display of affection or Tony Cox passing the tennis ball to Angie Kozlowski during the tennis-ball pass. The traditional Class Olympics were held on Friday, October 7, during Spirit Week. The events included the annual obstacle course race, the three-legged race, the tricycle race, and the tennis ball pass. The class pyramids and four Tug-of-War matches followed. At the end of the day, the junior class was announced as the overall winner. 7

The Junior class won the tug-of-war. class pvramids. and the slave auction. The Junior class won the tug-of-war. the Seniors won the class pvramid. (illegally, according to the Student Council Bonfire and Slave Auction Committee'. Mr. Carter was sold as a slave for the highest price of $’6.00 to Benny Cole. After the slave auc- tion, to show their school spirit, evervone went back and did some cheers bv the fin!
