FORREST CARTER, Absent BOARD OF EDUCATION The board of education acts as the governing body of the high school and has the responsibility to provide every student with the best education possible. The board considers the supervision of the instructional, building, transportation, and financial phases of our school. One of the major projects completed tinder the supervision of the board during the 1960-1961 school year was the building of a bus garage on the southeast end of our campus. The board of education compliments the yearbook staff for their outstanding work in preparing a publication which provides for a very important source of public relations between our school and the community.
