SENIOR CLASS PRCPHECY I Lots Malkey a promlnent fashlon designer In Paras have been Touring the U SA this summer of T966 and have had an especnally nlce vacatuon for I ran unto my old classmates of EC HS so herewlth IS my account of their fate As most of you have probably heard Carol Harger ns my assistant designer so I have left my bus: ness In Pans In her very capable hands I started my tour In New York with my first re acquarntance In Radlo Cnty It was wlth none other than Ronnie Dyas an up and coming star of televlslon and radio stlll goung strong with his lmpersonatlons of AI .Iolson Whlle contlnulng my trnp I stopped aT Washlngton D C for a look at our capltal and low and behold who do you suppose I saw none other than Stan Stelnke He sand he was Senator from lllunoss and on what tlcket do you thunk he was runnlng Dem ocrat Stan of all people a Democrat I proceeded on my way across The Unrted States My next stop was The thrlvlng town of Harding Illlnols where I fllled my car with gasoline and heard that Ruth Nelson s husband Harley Gatlss vnslted the school where George Kaleel was coaching The Red Raiders to vlctorles In football and basketball I saw that he had a bug N I on has sweater I guess Mr Mlnnuhan and Mr DeJarnatt finally talked hum Into going to their alma mater In the school office I found strange faces for Ruth Klatt IS married and Mr Hanson had retlred from the teaching professlon when Itchy was a Sensor He sand Itch was too much for hum to handle While drlvlng through the uptown dlstrlct I saw that Donna Harmon as strll worknng In the Royal Blue Store lust as It used to be only she has been promoted to manager and as trysng her best to keep the hugh school boys from destroying the store Upon leavlng the old town of Earlvllle I pro ceeded north to Paw Paw where Greta Hall and her hubby Fred Burnette are the proprietors of a cute llttle eat shop called Gretas Grlll Whzle chatting wlth Greta about old times I learned that Marllyn Alexander and Gene were married and are rarslng several Iuttle Chlldes now Westward now to Colorado where I fund th T Ruby Leonard has a large cattle ranch I al o learned that he and Ann Brumbelow finally tled the knot so I extended to them my best wlshes and lourneyed on While drlvlng through Callfornla I saw an old Chevue truck chugging down The road I thought I recognlzed the druver I was so amazed that I hut a fence post and wrecked the car The truck stopped and sure enough there was Bob Sanders stall Inaulnng garbage for a lnttle town out there He had a sugn on the ssde saying We haul any thrng anytlme anywhere My car wasnt dam aged much but I suffered fom shock so Bob took me to a hospltal In Los Angeles for treat ment and much to my amazement In walked Sandra Halght and Mlllre Klatt It seems that they made nursing thelr professlon While ID the hospltal I had my appendix removed somethlng which should have been done whale I was In school I missed a lot of school because of those dear thnngs One morning I awakened to the sound of a pavr of number twelves clopplng down the hall They sounded famrlnar and sure enough In walked Tommie Anderson I asked htm what he wanted though he had fauled The last two years of college somehow he made It Finally he told me he had come to settle the car wreck While tourlng through Hollywood I spotted Norma Kellams on Hollywood and Vtne street I asked what she was doung and she sard she was a secretary for Warner Bros Studnos By thus tame, my haur was In need of a setting so I stopped Into an exclusive beauty salon where to my surpruse I was Informed that Shirley Whrtecotton was the owner and at that very moment she was styling the halr of one ofthe movie stars She has made qunte a name for herself In Hollywood As I wanted for my hair to dry I picked up a newspaper and gorng through It I came upon a Hollywood gosslp column The Durt from the Stars It IS wrltten by none other than Carroll Ryg Hollywood certalnlv attracted a number of my old pals My Trap was thus finally completed except for my lourney home I decided to fly back to Paras so I boarded an Amerncan Anrllne plane whose prlot and co pnlot were Jack Cook and Hoot Gab son otherwzse known as the terrors from Rollo Barb Beale was the Stewardess A clever comblna tlon though wrth Hoot watching Barb and Barb trylng to keep watch on Hoot , A , I I I S 1 I 1 , .... , ,, , . ,, .
