The top of page 22 shows the nurses's office equipped with stand and scales for monthly weighing and measuring: height of pupils. A registered nurse is on duty during school hours every school day. All pupil conferences are held in the recitation room during conference hours. The English Room on the opposite page shows the manner of heat distri- hntion. Through the register near the top and left the warm air is introduced into the room and is removed through the Ventilating closet in the front of the room Knot shown in the cutj. The thermostat at the right of the door controls the rate ot' admission of warm air. VVhen the teniperature of the room rises ahove 72 I . the thermostat automatically turns on the compressed air system that closes the dampers in the warm air tiues.
