Graduates say that this is the hest time of anyones life. XVhat is it that they use as a hasis of judgment? ls it perhaps a lay- ing aside of a neat and secure microcosm in favor of a much larger, more challenging, and less secure space in which to exist? These four years include the greater part of an intlividual's maturation process for it is then that one decides what one is going to do with one's poten- tialiries. One learns what it means to become something and in particu- lar, to become a person.
