EARLHAM'S SPIRITUAL LABORATORY . THE Earlham Meetinghouse has come into existence after years of hopes and dreams. According to Dr. Trueblood the new meetinghouse has seven main functions: To provide for the Religious Life of the College, To provide a place for study, To pro- vide a place for conferences, To encourage the ministry, To establish a base dedicated to the renewal of the Society of Friends, To contribute to the recovery of family life, To provide facilities for the celebration of life's high moments. X-N1 The Meetinghouse was officially opened on Sunday, April 27, 1952. Remarks were made by Mr. Elmer Stout and Dr. Elton Trueblood. l2
