Rich in English heritage Hail To Thee . When in the course of human events, we pause to stop, look, and listen, and count our blessings, a different scene greets our eyes. And when the class of '47 stops to look and listen, we find a different Earlham than the one we thought was surrounding us. We remember the many chapel references to the Quakers from North Carolina who settled in the Whitewater Valley - that was some time ago, and because of it we have Earlham to- day. Also, we know that Earlham is rich in English heritage and

The campus aflame with the scarlet and gold glow of October's Indian summer, the chill white blanket of winter and the magnificent burst of spring's pastels are painted in our minds and hearts as the Earlham we know.
