There are now about seventy-five meniljers anil the association is an integral and essential part of Earlham life. The religions life of the men is absolutely dependent on the Y. M. C. A., as it arranges for the Bible study classes, mission classes and series of special meetings. Of the 105 men in Bnndy dormitory, ninety-six are enrolled in the Sun- day School, the average attendance being fort -t vo. About forty men are enrolled in mission classes and seventy-five attend regularly the Thursday night devotional services. During the series of special meetings, led by Dad Elliott, eighty-seven men signed declaration cards. The influence of the association extends far beyond college circles. This year S72.75 was given to the State and Internatinnal Committees, $135.00 to missions an.l S4,V, 5 to ile]iut, ' iti(in work. There are four rural pastors, fifteen sub- stitute ]iast..rs. iimrteen men lead Y. M. C. A. and Sunday Scliniil classes and a number make regular week-end trips for deputation work. Forty-nine men went out on gospel teams during the holidays, holding a total of sixty-five meet- ings and addressing 4,600 i)eo]ile. The work of the Y. M. C. A. is n..t limited to religious activity. Y. U. C. A. comnuttces publish the handbooks, that are given to all stu lents, get in touch with prospective students and meet and welcome all new stu.lents.
