' .rv :lvl is V V- 4 2 , . ..,, v Foreword Freedom is a personal thing. It is expressing oneself as a person feels. It is creating . . . working . . . expanding . . . growing. lt is believing in a particular concept, while your neighbor believes in the opposite. It is at- tending a concert, or painting a picture, or tinkering with a jalopy, or reading a book, or riding a wave - just because you want to. It is the de- velopment of a personality, an idea, a dream. In a period in history when people are clamouring about rights, and privileges and freedoms we of EAGLE decided one day to take poll of how our country, our community, our school measures up to the loud demands of angry youth. Because of what we saw, we decided to make FREEDOM - as a living, personal involvement in life - the theme of the '71 yearbook. For you see, we of the EAGLE STAFF do believe that the citizens of EHS ARE BORN FREE
