, M-gg,.. Q ,H4ll.Ah, g gr A :PROPHECY I 1 G.I. Joe and G.I. Jack from good old Eagle Valley, were stationed at Fort Lewis, Washington. It was this pair of G.I.s' duty to see that every bomb-rack was always filled and that the airplanes were kept in good condition. One day, they had an accident with a bomb, and of all the kinds made, it had to be an atom bomb. It slipped from its rack, as the planes were circling the field and fell right smack onto the tent of G.I. Joe and G.I. Jack and blew them clear into 1960. While they were there, they checked on all the old friends they had known in the class of n5l' and they pieced together a bountiful collection of careers. Ethelyn Randall Williams is now working hard trying to support her husband, Bob, and raise their 15 kids at the same time. Unfortunately, she could not think of enough names, so she named her ten boys, Bob I, Bob II, Bob III, Bob IV, Bob V, Bob VI, Bob VII, Bob VIII, Bob IX, and Bob X. She named her five girls, Susenabelle Sue, Lullabelle Lou, Annebelle Ann, Cannibelle Can, and Ethelebelle Can't. Charles Brooks is now in the army living a bachelor's life. He recently returned from Korea, where he practically won the war himself. He was awarded the Purple Heart five times for his gallent bravery. He is also owner of the Pacific Ocean and half of the Atlantic. Smooth sailing Charles!!! Wilma Emerson, Robertson, Say, Warnock, is waiting patiently in the Philippines. She is attending the University there, until Dan gets his dis- charge, so they can return home. Wilma has been studing the psychology of men for the past six years, and is quite sure she has found the right man for her- self at last. She has also become a long distance swimmer and is planning to swim the Pacific Ocean, if the owner, Charles Brooks, will give his consent. Dale Graven is now owner of a gold fish ranch down in Dry Gulch. Rumor has it there are more blondes than fish on it though. Also he has purchased the latest jet-propelled tractor for plowing his 2,000 acre ranch in his spare time. Between gold fish, blondes, and plowing, Dale is having quite a time. Margie Graves Blank is now seen on Powder River in a little log cabin. They are farming a l,OOO acre ranch they hope to own some day. Marge is us- ually seen out plowing while Alvin is in the house washing diapers for their six kids, two girls, two boys, and two blanks. Carole Moore is still spending her time in Baker. She is the new owner of the taxi stand 121, which is found at 726 Main Street. Guess who is driving the taxi for her??? Her favorite man, Bob Tayler. In her spare time she enjoys hearing Bob play all the old hits back in 1951. Loren Trickel is very lucky to have landed a job that he would enjoy so much. He is employed by the Olympia Brewing Company as an official beer taster and doesn't seem to mind the long nours at all. He is making a com- fortable salary and rumor has it that he may go into business for himself soon. Thelma Siler has become a famous CONE co auctioneer, who can be heard over K.B.K.R. every Saturday night. Aftfn her broadcast she is usually seen at the Club Flamingo, doing some fancy singing and dancing. She draws a salary of S500 a week and is really becoming famous. Good luck, Thelma.
