In the fall of l9L7 ten freshmen elected Carole Moore to lead us through that first year. Her assistants were Guy Thompson, Vice- Presidentg and Thelma Siler, Secretary and Treasurer. Mrs. Haberly was our advisor. One of our classmates, Orin Makinson, soon left us to depart to another school. Guy Thompson then moved ,to Halfway to join the Wolves. We then elected Charles Brooks for Vice-President. Several successful ventures launched us, socially and financially, to- ward our Sophomore year. Nine students returned for that year and nCoach' Heller was our chosen sponsor. Velma Ferguson, one to begin soon left us with a count of eight. Charles Brooks was chosen Pres- ident, Ethelyn Randall, Vice-President, and Wilma Emerson, Secretary and Treasurer. Having worked our way through those first two years,we were ready to take our place in the ranks of upper-classmen in the fall of 19L9 and got off to a good start with ten members in the class. Charles Moody, Jack Stoneman, and Margie Graves joined us and Delma Blank left us to marry Leorin Wood of Baker, Oregon. Miss Peggy Boles was our class advisor. Class officers were Carole Moore, President, Jack Stoneman, Vice-President, Wilma Emerson, Secretary, and Don Alex- ander, Treasurer. Don soon left us again before the year was com- pleted. Plans for the year were a Bingo Party and the annual Junior- Senior Prom. We really worked to make these both well-remembered events. This, our last year, has been a memorable one. The Senior Sneak was wonderful and we had a grand time. The Senior Class Play, which was, 'Bashful Bertie', went off with a bang. Although there was loads of fun for all of us there was plenty of hard work, too. Mr. Jeffers assisted in our activities, while class officers were Wilma Emerson, President, Dale Graven, Vice-President, Ethelyn Randall, Secretary and Treasurer. Now its goodbye to a wonderful four years, but with good hopes for the future.
