Miss Roby helped the journalists with their work as Miss Harding guided the typists. Working on the paper proved helpful to the second year typing students as they typed, proofread, and mimeographed the paper. Together these staffs issued an informative and interesting school paper which brought enjoyment to readers throughout the year. Editors and Front Page First row, left to right fseatedlz B. The Zionsville High School Band under the baton of our own Joe has had a very successful year, and many events have combined to make it a memorable one. Among the honors re- ceived was a cherished invitation to perform as the featured band at the Indiana B a n d ma ste r s' Association Clinic. The marching unit also placed fifth at the annual Indiana High School Band Day Marching Contest, and second in the Farmers' Day Parade. During the year the Band has pre- sented many entertaining and colorful half-time shows at our local basketball games. The Dance Band under the direction of Mr. Haboush has provided entertain- ment at many public gatherings. Band members have also played for several private dances and have achieved a high rank in the State Dance Band Contest. DANCE B Firstrow, lefttoright: E. Morrison, R. There were class parties, ballgames, sock dances, and king and queen contests--all of which left lasting memories. We had fun selling ice cream and cokes in the junior concession stands to make money to finance our prom, the highlight of the year's activities.
