Flagle Hock High School remained the only Los Angeles school that had both junior ' l nd seiiior high. Junior high students were 3 fnembers of the football, swim, basket- ball, and track teams. Junior high girls ; joined Pep Club and cheered for the foot- 1 ball team, while other junior high students ] played in the marching band. .Some basic junior high classes were Eng- j lish, math, history and science. Sewing, 1 cooking, shops and typing were offeree - ' ' electives. Many seventh grade boys took sewing and ; cooking and many seventh grade girls took ' shop classes for the first time at Eagle Rock. -
