In Q C70-.M C5411 fwznu On September 5, 19h5, 7h very Wgreenu Freshmen entered the halls of Eagle River High School. Mr. Roger Dennis was our class advisor. To make us real Eagle High School students they initiated us in the latter part of September. Marjorie Miller was chosen our Homecoming Queen Candidate. The next fall 65 Sophomores re-entered ERHS. Having left our greenness behind we were ready to initiate the incoming Freshmen. Miss Giles was our class advisor. A newcomer, Donna Nagel, was elected as our Homecoming Queen Candidate. Our Junior year, the best of all, was climaxed by the Junior Prom in May. we chose a ship deck for our theme and WNow Is The Hourn for the theme song. Barry Ewald and Angie Brooker reigned as King and Queen. Our class play, WFixit Incorporatedn, was a great success under the direction of Mrs. Seifert our class advisor. For Homecoming Queen candidate we chose Angie Brooker. At last we are Seniors, and have reached the goal for which we have been striving. The way has been rocky as well as eventful but S9 of us have walked to the end of this happy road together. Under the direction of Miss Austin, our class advisor, we were able to present the very successful class play, WDon't Take My Pennyn. Our candidate, Mary Lou Chart reigned as Queen of the Homecoming Dance. Co mencement on May 27 will close the doors on four years of fun, friendship, and success but it will not shut out the memories of happy times and friends we had at Eagle High. cf X514 Chef egg After a great deal of probing around and generally questioning the individuals that make up the senior class the following piece of literary genius was composed and with the least amount of fiction and a crystal ball nearby, here we go! The title of the worst basketball coach in history at Podunk U. goes without doubt to the former ERHS star, PARRY EEALD. The now balding young man Che tears out all his hairj is enjoying his position to the utmost. The top hard liquor joint in the country has for its propietor none other than LEON ZARURA, who is now making millions by adding S01 water to each bottle. The best bartender in this roadhouse is DICK LANTZ who can really mix 'em. Another addition to the tipsy duo is husky PERU LINDSTROM, the brawny bouncer. Every time we turn on the radio we get the caustic remarks of ROSS ELLIOTT and his dry anecdotes on sports. Only once a week does he attempt to broadcast a game and that is when he can brag about that great Chicago Plackhawk goalie, DOUGLAS ELLERHAN. BILL SPARKS is running his own gold mine in Alaska and at last report was making oodles of money. Seems he induced all the Eskimo women to work for nothing and it pays off plenty. LOUIS PAULMAN is his chief manager. ORLENE KRINGEL and VIRGINIA TURNCUIST are married and living in Canada. They live next to the Montreal Forum so as to be near their husband's work. MARKIE RODERICK is still in Florida but this time she is getting more than sunshine. what a remarkable place for a honeymoon and look at that blushing young bride and groom from Eagle River, MARCIA ZIMPELMANN and hubby. The top dude path in the Southwest is capably run by ED NUMRICH and his top rider is GENE STEIN who laughs the broncos into tameness and then rides on. ALLEN MEYERS runs the top garage in the north country and you can get anything from a grease job to a manicure at his plush establish ent. The top man in the ancient car business is SHEIDON BURNETT and right around you will find his trusty mechanic, CARL ANDERSON. They are up in the job and all of their gas comes from GORDON LONG'S filling station. They claim the gas is jet-propelled and this is mainly on the efforts of TERRY FRYKHOLM, the great chemist. The top artist for Esquire is MARY LOU CHART and her drawings really have the wolves howling for more. Another artist hm in the serious line is PHYLLIS DOOLITTLE who makes her living fend her husband'sJ by interior decorating. In Michigan the name for good fishing and hunting is EDDIE NAGEL who knows the trails and lakes by heart. Ed has returned from a lengthy trip to Africa and has plenty to talk about if the fish don't bite. The top woman general in the world is our own ARLENE CARLSON and she has worked her way up from private first class. The next in command is DELORES BARICH and the girls say they're mighty tough. The Chicago Hornets have finally won a game in the All-American Conference and the only reason this miracle happened is than they have DALLAS MAYO playing quarterback and also taking a part-time coaching job. Mayo scored ten touchdowns yesterday in the thrilling contest at J 1 ' 5 A 5 sans l - ffti ffh- s 'f'J ..'.. F M ll S Losl' LAKE RESORT HF 5.
