,xi 4 SENIOR CLASS HISTORY On September lg, l9h7, we the mighty Senlor Class of 1951, shyly entered the halls of Eagle Polnt Hlgh School to enroll as lowly freshmen We elected the followlng class Off1C9FS Presldent, Dlck Bradshaw, V1ce Presldent, Nell Jaclson, Secretary Treasurer, Betty Walch, and Student Councll Member Donald Staley Hrs Broadbeck was cho en as class adv1sor On October 2 we were confronted wlth the a nual freshman 1n1t1at1on, whlch found us dressed 1n varlous costumes and tormented throughout the day We chose Patsy Vee as our Carnlval Queen candldate, but, as fate was agalnst us, w lost However, we were hlghly successful in the May Festlval wlth both one of her DP1HC9SSeS The fall of l9h8 found 39 students enrolllng for our Sophomore year e elected the follow1ng class offlcers Presldent, Iayne lrnes, V196 Presldent, D1Ck Mulhollen, Sec retary, Janet Greb, Treasurer, Vera Henshaw, and Student ouncll member, Betty alch fe cnose Mr McGovern for our class advlsor On October 26, we gladly carrled out the tra d1t1OH of 1Hlt13t1OD by deallng out mlsery to the poor fresh men Our candldate for Carnlval Cueen was Florlne NOPFIS, but fate was st1ll agalnst us, and we lost agaln 1n the race Ie presented our class play, WThe Sllver Bracelet', on Lay 13 Our class was well rep resented in sports throughout tne fear Q-x S 1 5 . . o A : . . . a 4 0 'I 0 ' A S . 0 5, E I A.
