OTTicially opening The celebraTion was a sTudenT dance aT The Piedras Negras Casino Friday nighT beginning aT eighT. IT was a grand success according To everyone who aTTended. SaTurday TesTiviTies began aT 8:30 a.m. wiTh a concerT by The Sul Ross Band on The Piedras Negras plaza and a concerT by The Eagle Pass Jr. High band on The Eagle Pass posT oTTice sTeps. Uvalde and San Felipe Tollowed The Sul Ross Band, each playing a shorT concerT. All oTher bands presenT Tollow- ed The EPT-TS band wiTh shorT concerTs on The posT oTTice sTeps ending aT I l:3O. Lunch was Served Tree of charge To all viSiTorS beTween ll:OO and I2:3O aT The Eagle Field House courTesy of The RoTary Club.
