WiTT Took Top honors in all Three InTerscholasTic League Band ConTesTs, marching, concerT, and sighT reading, and capTur- ed The Region VI AAA Band SweepsTalces Award. On December 7, l956, aT Uvalde. Texas. The Band won iTs TourTh sTraighT FirsT Division in The lnTer- scholasTic League Marching ConTesT. A ToTal oT lO2 members made The Trip To Uvalde. OTher bands compeTing in The AAA Division were: SouTh San AnTonio High School, Tivy High School oT Kerrville, Uvalde High School, and NorTheasT High School of San AnTonio. The judges were Mr. Tom Williamson, Mr. Joe Bellamah, Mr. Gene STuch- bery, and Mr. Ralph RuTord.
