Mokelbust. purple and gold The Purple-N-Gold is a four-page, five-column tabloid written and edited by volun- teers from the student body. Eight issues a year are published by the Eagle Grove Eagle. Students receieve subscriptions with the purchase of their activity tickets. Student reporters submit rough copy any time before Wednesday of the week pre- ceding publication. The copy is edited, corrected, and typed before it is delivered to the Eagle Grov-e Eagle linotype crew. The galley proof is picked up on Friday evening prior to publication. One copy is proofread and the other copy is cut up for pasting purposes. Early Saturday morning the editors report to the Eagle office to assist in the final page make-up. On Monday 800 copies are printed. The copies are picked up by the distributing manager, the distributing crew delivers the copies to students, faculty, and advertisers. Sponsor W. G. Bennett fabsent when picture was takenj has sponsored the Purple- N-Gold for eleven years.
