Mosher. future business leaders of america The Eagle Grove FBLA chapter is recognized as Iowa's leading chapter, Eagle Grove received the Lloyd V. Douglas trophy, awarded each year to the outstanding chapter in Iowa, in 1956, 1957, and 1958. The chapter received the Hamden L. Forkner trophy, awarded each year to the outstanding FBLA chapter in America, in 1956, ranked 6th in 1957, and ranked 3rd in 1958. There are over 30 chapters in Iowa and nearly 2000 chap- ters in America. v FBLA is an organization for young men and women interested in taking their place in the business and professional world. It offers one of the broadest selections of activi- ties among our extra curricular offerings. Projects emphasize - service - progress - education -- the club's motto. Members receive experience in spelling, vocabulary, pub- lic speaking, parliamentary law, true-to-life interviews, exhibit building, stenographic service, community service, and social activities.
