The 1930 EAGLET Rear Rovs Mary Tremaine Ellen Thorson Irma Kopecky Olga Sathre Front Rove Lola Netland Miss Stex ens Jean Short GAA Pre ident OLGA SATHRE Secretary MARY TREMAINE Treasurer LOLA NETLAND The Girls Athletic Association is everything its name suggests It was organized on a pcmt basis which has enabled many of the girls to earn their E s without inter scholastic competition Points can be earned in track basketball baseball hiking tumbling and general class work The purpose of this organization is to develop interest and participa tion in girls athletics to increase physical efficiency to develop a higher degree of sports manship and school and class spirit. Any person earning 100 points in her Physical Education work is eligible for member- .hip to the Association. After she has earned her points she must be initiated. This is done at one of the G. A. A.'s numerous meetings. It causes much merriment and helps to bring forth happiness and promote the feeling of good friendship for which the club is noted. The Executive Board consisting of the officers and the Physical Education instructor is the governing body of the organization.
