The 1930 EAGLET' x Vlce President Secretary Treasurer Presldent Donald Lonmng Helen Wilcox Jack Wells There was a young lady who 11Ved in a shoe She had so many Freshxes she dldn t know what to do The young lady Miss Black declded to put us rlght at work Wlth Jack Wells as presxdent and Donald Lonmng vice presldent we green Freshmen trxed to prove that we aren t so green Nor dld we try ln vam for you see us represented ln many th1ngs Puttlng down the head lmers I nfught mentxon football both boys and g1I'lS basketball tumblmg glee club orchestra and declam Dont forget three representatlves m the Lxttle SIX Declamatory Conference were Freshmen A few of the boys earned letters and many of the glrls earned the requlred one hundred points for entermg the Glrls Athletic Assoc1at1on We made a colorful debut before the Hlgh School m an assembly entxtled Memorles It was deemed a great success and someone was overheard remarking Those Freshmen aren t so green Just twice we were allowed to leave the shoe bent on a good tlme Frlday evening November 15 was the flrst t1me We had an entertalnmg program ln the assembly the mam feature bemg a beauty contest wrth the boys attlred rn brg slsters clothes Then games ln the gym and a del1c1ous lunch served ln the cafeterxa Our second fhght from the shoe was m a bob slelgh on Thursday mght January '13 After havmg worn the streets out we all went to the Olympia Candy Kltchen to eat We as the Class of 33 have trxed to make this year a success and we thmk It has been I mlght add that we thmk next year wxll be a blgger success for we are feelmg big gel and better than ever HELEN WILCOX Class Historran HW ........ ......... ,.... ...... ...,.,.,.......
