The 1930 EAGLET Presrdent Vrce Presld nt Secretary Treasur r Junror Hrsforq Shrp ahoy' Here we come Srngln rn the Ram Thats us the class of 31 We re only Junrors thrs year but Just stay around untll next year and then look us over No we re not concerted Now that were comrng to the end of our four year Journey on the sea of knowledge .ve look back on tre beglnnrng of our voya e We have be n glven a page rn the Eaglet to tell the h story cf our notable class As Freshmen we entered E G H S wrth hrgh sprrrts Of course a lrttle of that was taken out of us by our teachers especrally Mr Mrller and Mr Payne Durrng our rrst vear as Freshres we were well represented rn athletlcs although some of our boys were mall As Sophles and Junrors we were also represented rn athletrcs Several of our men made the varsrty In the declamatory contest w were well represented Out of the twelve students who represented our school frve of them were members of our class Out of the twenty who represented our school last year rn the contest erght of them were members of our class Thrs year we had f1VC repre entatlves rn the declamatory contest The Junror Class has two of the most effrclent debaters that E G H S has ver DFO duced besrdes many other excellent debaters Therr success rs partly due to the work ot our prrncrpal and debate coach Mr Beem We have been well represented rn the orchestra glee clubs student councrl etc As Freshres we organrzed a Junror Scrence Club sponsored by Mr M11'6Y Thls club rs strll rn exrstence rn our school The frrst brg task whrch the Junrors tackled thrs vear was the class play Then came the operetta and last but not least the Junror Senror banquet Thrs affarr will not be forgotten by the Senrors and par trcularly bv the JUIIIOFS who worked and planned for rt thrcughout tre school vear Much of our success rs to be credrted to our sponsor of the last two years Mlss fear hart We re approxrmately erehty strong and although ue are glad that our vuork rs over for thrs year we are plannlng on a br ger and better year rn 1931 GRACE HALL Class H1 torran Ili ill In ..... ....,..., ..... ............ ........,.
