T e 1930 MUSKETEER Rear Row Mildred Laurent Doris Sharp Catherine Torp Harriett Frey Berni Bolan THE CARDINAL STAFF A new a tivity in the Junior College is the publication of a section in the lrcal news paper It was started early last fall and has been kept up intermittently during the great er part of the year Included in the material is society news taking uv all our parties picnics and other social gatherings and editorials discussing all kinds cf topics from tests to coop ration Tre literary notes contain the better themes stories or poems cf the two class s Then our News for Yous column better known as our scandal heet tells many of the ms and outs of the young colleglans At the middle of the year our editor Evelyn Blackman resigned and her place was taken by Klarize Smith The staff has remained much the same throughout the year and 1 as in every way cooperated wlth the edxtoxs to get out whatever news there might b The paper was begun as an instrument to bring the Junior college activities more b fore the notice of the town The only way ln which any organization can grow IS to 'uivertile and make the p ople realize that it is really alive. This has been the purpose of this little paper and we sincerely hope that it may be carried on next year- bigger and better than ever.
