Any person earning 100 points in her Physical Education work is eligible for member- .hip to the Association. After she has earned her points she must be initiated. This is done at one of the G. A. A.'s numerous meetings. It causes much merriment and helps to bring forth happiness and promote the feeling of good friendship for which the club is noted. The Executive Board consisting of the officers and the Physical Education instructor is the governing body of the organization. But oh what a cameback we made in our next campaign. Our B. B. warriors fnot bawl baby! raided all the main ports in our part of the continent and seldom was it they did not return with plenty of plunder. At the close of their blcody campaign they were rewarded by a genuine Pirates Feas . rthanks to the W. A. AJ No crew can carry on without some frolics and we certainly found ours in our dance? and parties. Our Eyes of Love were certainly proficient and went cver in a big way. Now it wont be long until we will be resigning our posts to our younfer less experienced mates, but the one thing which should remain with us, is the fact that we were all at one time Pirates. In the future we can always lock back upon these good old Pirate days 'rnd experience a tingling sensation of joy at the memories of our esmpades as a red blccded. full fledged. E. G. J. C. Every machine has its defects and also it cannot please everyones likes and dislikes. Thus it is with the Student Executive Council. They have tried to do what they thought the student body wanted. They were the sponsors of practically all Junior College activ- ities outside of athletics and backed these to the last. Even though they were not suc- cessful in all cases they certainly deserxe credit for their efforts. ml .......... Due to our shortened football seasfn, we received an early start. Eddie Gross was elected captain of our crew. and more than filled the position with his pep and spirit of cooperation. The team had a gced foundation to work from, as six letter men were back from last year. At center was rangy Don Hoiekvam, Hook , and his uncanny basket eye plus the tip-off control, made him one oi the main cojgs. Tillman Thompson. Tommy , and Harold Dixon. Dick , proved to be a pair of whirlwinds at forward, and turned out to be a pair cf the highest scorers in the Conference. The guard positions were held by Capt. Ed Gross and Marvin Larson. t'Mike . and they have the distinction of having never ence lost the ball on a down-floor flurry. Allen, Stedman. and Hart proved to be C1 formid- able trio cf Substitutes, and certainly deserve credit ici' their part in the seasons victories. All the first string. graduate this year. and ne Lt years team is still in the shadows, but if they have the old E. G. J. C. spirit, they are sure to crme out on top. We hope they also receive as good a banquet at the close oi' their reason, as we did at the finish of ours.
