All good things must end so I had to leave Eads and return home. Dr. Ben Casey, my boss, asked me to stop In Washington, D. C., enroute home and pick up some pills for him. I had an over night stay, so set out to see the White House. I hadn't gone far when I overhead a conversation and one of the speakers was called Scritch.” I wondered if this could be our class- mate Amitha Ritchie, sure enough it vas. She was now Head Wave at the Navy’s waving center where they wave a wave's hair. She told me that D. L. Weeks, his wife, and their ten children had just visited Washington, D. C.
