CLASS HISTORY The first day of school twenty little demons, feeling very important, stomped into the classroom and began their twelve years of trying to learn. They were: Raymond Barrows, Duane Borneman, Alfred Greever, Vernon Hollandsworth, Gerald Smith, Sharyn Abrams, Esther Amyx, Joan Burger, Wanda Dunlap, Barbara Huddleston, Carolyn Jackson, Vena Koch, Tressie Lane, Ila Belle Mills, Geneva Hainer, Betty Patton, Wilma Mapson, Elizabeth Rose, and Jeanie Latham. The second year we lost Alfred Greever, Vernon Huddleston, Arthur Hollandsworth, Sharyn Abrams, Joan Burger, Barbara Huddleston, Wilma Mapson, Elizabeth Rose, and Jeannie Latham, but we gained Lealon Brumley, Junior Criswell, Dick Crow, Jack Hines, Gordon Mast, Richard Darrell, Geneva Hainer, Joyce Hutt, May Morton, and Norma Jean Broof, making the total one more than that of the preceding year. We gained Gus Anderson, Henry Baxter, Sharyn Abrams, and Rosemary Schmitt during the third year. We lost Duane Borneman, Jack Hines, Gerald Smith, Richard Darrell, Geneva Hainer, and Norma Jean Broof. At the end of the second semester, we lost Carolyn Jackson and gained Mildred Hieronymus. The fourth year Carolyn came back to help us annoy teachers, but we lost Rosemary Schmitt. The fifth year we gained Cloyce Conner, Delano O'Dell, Thomas Bordell, Judith Hastings, and lost Gus Anderson, Sharyn Abrams, and May Morton. In the sixth grade we were honored with the addition of six boys and six girls. They were: Donald Haynes, Clyde Jones, Leo Mays, Tommie Zordel, Joseph Hooker, Bobby Vandergriff, Geneva Hainer, Rosie Mays, Ruth Sturgeon, Mamie Zordel, Billie May and Daisy Diemart. We lost Dick Crow, Delano O'Dell, Thomas Bordell, and Judith Hastings. The seventh year Theresa Rutledge and Sharyn Abrams joined our tittle mob. We lost Raymond Barrows and Donald Haynes in the eighth grade, and gained Maynard Amerine, Mildred Hibler, Fritzi Hogge, Dorothy Wimp, and Betty Brookfield. In the ninth grade we lost Henry Baxter, Leo Mays, Bobby Vandergriff, and gained L. D. Nelson, Don Williams, Earl Mitchell Albert Ady, Dorothy Carthel, Clara Bell Hill, Joyce Nelson, Florence Weiser, and Carma Lorenz. In the tenth grade, we gained Don Carlson, Robert Wimp, Arthur Hollingsworth, Darlene Bickel, Marilou Tappana, and Lois Henney. We lost Cloyce Conner, Don Williams, Earl Mitchell, Albert Ady, Sharyn Abrams, and Mildred Hibler.
