“CLASS PROPHECY Jean Hainer has devoted her time to raising her small family of twelve boys and twelve girls. She decided they were cheaper by the dozen. One day in Juvember of 1999, her little girl took sick. She rushed her to a doctor. On the window was Dr. 'Fixum' Healey . They went in and saw a tall, gangly, curly, gray haired man, and who was it but our own Lynn Healey who used to live on a ranch near Eads, Colorado. He said that he owned a 12800 acre ranch in Wyoming. He was also a veterinarian. This was the wrong doctor but she had gotten to see an old classmate. Well, Jean proceeded on to the hospital. A nurse met them and asked them what they wanted, and this nurse turned out to be Marilyn Healey. She said she was the head nurse at this hospital. Jean was really glad she had succeeded so well in her work. While they were in town, she decided to sign up her four eldest for piano lessons. They walked up the steps of a large, beautiful, building and who was sitting at the piano but Lois Laing. She had been teaching for forty years now. As they were driving home, they passed a resort that gave swimming lessons. The boys persuaded her to go back and let them start lessons. They drove up to a pretty abode. A nice-looking woman met them and who was this but Leila Freeman. She lived right on a lake and gave swimming instructions herself. Miss Freeman (Mrs?) also told them that she wrote poetry in her spare time and sold them to Henry Wadsworth Longfellow. They were glad to know that she was doing so well. Miss Freeman took two of the boys for their first lesson and they were sitting in the lounge talking when in walked two handsome men who were just graying a little at the temples. These men looked familiar, and sure enough, she knew them. They were Melvin Richardson and Bob Wimp. Mel told her that he was playing baseball for the Dooklyn Brodgers. Bob told her that he was a five-star General in the Air-Corps. While these men were sitting there with her, recalling the good old days at E. H. S., a couple of distinguished looking men came into the lounge. They also looked familiar to her. Sure enough, she knew them; they were George Schleining and Peter Hoepner. While they were talking they told them that they had purchased the Holcomb's Grocery and now it was known as the S-H Indigestion Store. These two men were also among her graduating class. George was the president of the class. When they were about to leave, another graying chap came in. He looked very familiar to all of them. He turned out to be Edward Peters. Edward told them he was playing the tuba in Dimmy Jorsey's band in Yew Nork. They all left the Freeman home and journeyed on. Jean decided to get some meat before going home. There was a locker plant enroute so she stopped and a very familiar face was behind the counter. This face belonged to Dan Jackson. He had built himself up a mighty fine business.
