The wonderful play our class gave, All the times We stood on that stage. All We can do now is utter a sigh, In memory of treasured moments gone by. We remember all the clubs too, And all the things we used to do. All the important meetings we had, The projects that worked good and bad. We remember that Thanksgiving dinner in white, Turkey with lots of cranberry sauce to our delight. We remember that Christmas Party too, The years We wore red and green or white and blue. We remember the beautiful May Day scene, And how We missed a step on the green. Our lovely May Queen all in white, These are the moments when all was right. And now our year seems almost through, We look forward to wearing those robes of blue, We can he ar the tantalizing far away tune, Of the graduation song--that day will come too soon. But now we must close this door, For there are higher heights we must explore. But looking back on all our joys and strife, We now realize that leaving Smith will be the beginning of life. 7

Treasured Memories We stand here now on the threshold of a memory, And to these days our minds doth flee. We know if We should close this door, This part of life is closed forever more. But life at Smith will forever be, Just a treasured memory. And while We can remember it so clear, We turn to look back at the things We held dear. The clanging and banging at locker time, Mixed with happy voices to form a distant chime. The halls where we played, laughed, and walked, The rooms where we studied, sang, and talked. The intramurals- -we won our share, Or the other teams just weren ' t fair. The classes we cut or gladly missed, We remember moments like this. How many times we did excitedly repeat, Words that echo we shall not be beat. The good times we had at those games, Treasured memories never to come again. Miss Homecoming, oh none could compare, Her beauty, charm, and sweetness so rare. The Homecoming dance We remember too, That dreamy music and oh yes you! 6
